Mazda Motor Corporation has announced the following organizational and personnel changes, effective June 26, 2019.

1. Organizational Changes

(1) Changes in the area of auditing and supervision

Aims

• Mazda's transition to a company with an audit and supervisory committee was approved today at the 153rd Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders. The Audit and Supervisory Committee Department will contribute to strengthening Mazda's corporate governance by 1) developing the Audit and Supervisory Committee's policies and plans and assisting with its management, 2) providing support to members of the Audit and Supervisory Committee.

Details of changes

• Change the name of the Audit and Supervisory Committee Preparation Department to the Audit and Supervisory Committee Department.
